Julie was born in Boston, Mass just a few years ago. During her 3rd class with her favorite teacher Mrs. Gero, Julie starred in her first play “The Case of the Missing Letter” and was smitten with the actor’s life.
When Julie was 15, she was at a Jewish youth group convention where her soon to be first comedy mentor, Tony V., was performing. She was enrapt with him and asked how she could do stand up. He told her to come to the Comedy Connection and do 5 minutes. She did and the rest is history in her own mind.
Julie attended the prestigious Emerson College in Boston, majoring in Theatre Education. Her stellar 2.5 GPA has rocketed her to the heights of the middle. Julie was a member of THIS IS PATHETIC comedy group for 4 years, kept doing stand up, won the FUNNIEST COLLEGE STUDENT comedy contest from Nick’s Comedy Shop, was featured in PBS’s first all-women sketch comedy show, THE WORLD ACCORDING TO US, and in the late 90’s moved to NYC where she has been pursuing comedy ever since.
Julie co-stars on THE BIG GAY SKETCH SHOW on LOGO where she is an ensemble memeber of the first ever gay sketch comedy show. Julie also appears on COMEDY CENTRAL with her featured stand-up LIVE AT GOTHAM and online in LEWIS BLACK’s ROOT OF ALL EVIL.
An award winning comedian, Julie won the 2007 MAC award for Headlining Comedian in NYC, and in 2008 won the NEW NOW NEXT AWARD for Brink of Fame Comic.

This year Julie launches a live monthly all female comedy line-up JULIE GOLDMAN’s OFFENSIVE WOMEN where she has enlisted the best and most outrageous female comics in the world. She’s lucky to be mentored and guided by the great EVE ENSLER, who will be co-producing the biggest OFFENSIVE WOMEN yet in December of 2008 in NYC.
